During the many events happening in Knight Country for Homecoming week, many students put hard work into decorating their teachers classroom door for a Homecoming Door Decorating contest.

The contest was judged by a group of students in Student Council and judged on creativity and effort.

After a long week of hard work put in by quite a few teachers and their students, they were judged thursday afternoon. The winner was classroom 700, Mrs. Yvette Gonzalez, the Home Ec teacher.

“All my classes put in a lot of hard work and effort,” said Mrs. Gonzalez. “Even though part of it did fall apart, we were still able to win the contest.

The classroom was decorated in many paper foods including popcorn, ice cream, candies and many others in order to make sense with the homecoming theme of “A Knight at the Carnival.”

“I believe these kinds of activities make us more involved and help out alot with school spirit,” says sophomore Alexis Morales. “These are the types of activites that make us want to be more involved and want to actually come to school.”
