In the top of the third, the Knights had great performances from certain individuals. Sophomore Brian Contreras had an amazing catch in the outfield from a fly ball, and got the crowd cheering for his amazing catch. After this catch from Contreras, the Falcons had 2nd and 3rd base filled. The Knights pitcher Gilberto Melendez got the player from third running home out, and with quick thinking threw the ball back to third resulting in a total of three outs ending the top of the third. This brought the quiet crowd to cheers.

"I play to have fun as well as my teammates." said Contreras. " We just come out to play with all we've got and do the best we can do."

At the bottom of the 5th, Senior Ruben Alcala steps up to plate saying "I want to win!" he then had an amazing hit and ended up making it to second base and slid in at the last second. With the Falcon fans saying it was an out, and Knight fans chanting that it was safe, the play was good and Alcala was safe.

Although the Knights took a district loss, they played to their best ability and will next take on the Highlanders to bring up their district record.
