It is no secret that Donald Trump holds one of the more controversial accounts on the Twitter website. Besides the account only intended for the President of the United States, @POTUS, Trump also has access to a personal one, @RealDonaldTrump .
Within the last week, Trump has tweeted six posts attacking Senator Bob Corker and three attacking Senator Jeff Flake.
"Sen. Corker is the incompetent head of the Foreign Relations Committee, & look how poorly the U.S. has done," tweeted Trump (via @RealDonaldTrump on Twitter), Tues., Oct. 24, 2017.
"Same untruths from an utterly untruthful president. #AlertTheDaycare," said Corker via Twitter (@SenBobCorker), implying that Trump was behaving in a childlike manner.
However, Trump's bashing comments did not end there. Trump proceeded to tweet that Corker was a "lightweight Senator" who has "set the U.S. way back".
According to CNN, the White House suggested it was time for the Arizona Senator to retire. Flake announced he would not be running for re-election during his speech on the Senate floor Oct. 24, 2017. Flake's unfortunate political outcome is said to have suffered due to the long-lasting feud with Trump.
The people of the country are left asking the question: how childish do the online comments from Trump make the U.S. look?
How can Trump make promises on pushing this nation further when he cannot even seem to log off of his Twitter profile?
This not only makes the country's leader look immature to other nations, but makes the citizens of the U.S. look incompetent for allowing this behavior to continue.
"This is not right. This is not us. This is not conservative," said Flake on CNN's "The Lead".
