Description: G-Force members visit area high schools and work closely with 9-12th grade students to create a “college-going culture.” G-Force teaches students how to enroll in any college or university.
G-Force is has defined roles as established by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board as part of the College for Texans Campaign. HHS G-Force members develop and supervise Go Centers at J M Hanks HS and area feeder-pattern schools by making visits to the schools to meet with students and provide college enrollment, guidance, and support, academic tutoring, and mentoring. G-Force members work closely with the Go Center counselor and student leaders to ensure the success of the program.

Description: Hanks Football has been in existence since the school opened in 1978. Over that time there have been five head coaches and numerous assistants. Jim Pufhal was the first head coach followed by Patrick O’Neil. After Coach O’Neil was Carl Klahn and then Ron Durkes. Cleveland, the current head coach, is in his eighth year. Hanks fields a freshman, jv, and varsity team each season with all three teams playing at least 10 games.
